We have an unusually large house with a big walled garden, providing quiet and spacious accommodation with plenty of parking only 105 yards from Saturday Market. The house is occupied by the Sweeney family. It was built in 1746 and retains many original Georgian features. In 2009, we decided to open part of the house as an upmarket B&B. In 2010, we were proud to be awarded not just four stars as before, but also a breakfast award and a silver award. In 2011, we became the only 5 star B&B or hotel in Beverley. In 2012, we received the REYTA award for Best Night's Sleep (serviced) in the whole of Hull and East Yorkshire. Each year since 2013, we have been awarded 5 stars and a breakfast award by Visit England and currently hold a Gold Award and a Breakfast Award.

For eight years running, we have been number 1 on Tripadvisor for Beverley and we have featured in the Good Hotel Guide every year since 2016, receiving  in recent years various Editor's Choice awards for best newcomer, best value and best B&B.

We enjoy having visitors from all over the world. Most of our visitors come to enjoy a few days holiday in the historic town of Beverley. Some are visiting relatives and some come on business. We aim to provide all comers with an exceptional welcome, a fabulous sleep and a great breakfast. We are proud that many of our visitors have come back several times, and some have sent their friends and relatives. A family room and excellent small conference facilities are available.
